About KASREN
KASREN is an independent production brand. It develops, casts and produces its own paid photography and film projects across Upstate New York, and casts women 18+ in Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and Albany.
An independent production brand
Every project KASREN casts for is its own. Concepts are developed in-house, scheduled in-house and produced in-house, which is why casting only opens when a specific production is scoped and dated.
Not a modeling agency
KASREN does not represent talent, does not submit anyone to third parties and does not manage careers.
No outside clients
KASREN does not cast for other companies, agencies or brands. The productions are its own.
No application fee
Joining the Talent List is free. KASREN never charges for consideration, review or photos.
No guarantee of work
Being on the list is not a booking. Applicants are reviewed against real projects when those projects are scheduled.
Who KASREN casts and where
KASREN casts women 18 years of age or older. Projects are planned around four Upstate New York markets, and applicants are reviewed against the specific brief for the region a project is scheduled in.
What is disclosed before a booking
Nothing is confirmed until the details are in writing and you agree to them. For every KASREN booking, the following is stated before you decide. You can decline any project, and declining keeps you on the list.
Compensation
What the project pays and what that payment covers.
Date, location and timing
The shoot date, the general location, the expected call time and how long the day is planned to run.
Content category and scope
What the shoot involves and the category the content falls under, stated plainly before you decide.
Wardrobe
What to bring or wear, and anything the production supplies.
Intended usage
How the resulting images or footage are intended to be used.

The resource library explains KASREN's own application, preparation and booking standards — what to send, what a review looks at, and what a paid project day involves. Each guide is published and reviewed by KASREN and updated when the process itself changes.
