Paid Modeling Opportunities in Syracuse, NY
KASREN's Syracuse page is where women 18+ can find its paid modeling jobs and casting calls for photography and film projects in Central New York. When a project is scheduled in the region, applicants are reviewed against that brief — including whether they can reach a Syracuse-area location and hold the required weekday or weekend booking window.
Applicants who join from Syracuse can also be considered for projects elsewhere in Upstate New York when the fit and travel make sense for that specific production.

Join the Talent ListThe kind of work that happens around Syracuse
KASREN produces its own photography and film work, so project types rotate with what is in production rather than with client demand. Central New York projects may include the following formats.
Indoor portrait sessions
Short, controlled sessions — often two to three hours in a single location with simple wardrobe changes.
Seasonal outdoor shoots
CNY weather drives scheduling. Outdoor work would be planned with a weather window and a backup date rather than a fixed promise.
Short-form film and video
On-camera work with more waiting between setups and repeated takes of the same action.
Creative and editorial projects
Concept-led shoots where the brief is specific and the content category is stated in advance.
If Syracuse is where you are starting out
You do not need previous paid modeling or on-camera work to apply. For most projects, professional credits are not the deciding factor — availability, reliability and fit with the brief are.
If you are unsure what to send or what a first booking involves, the two guides below cover it plainly.
What KASREN looks for
Reliability
You show up on the agreed day, on time, prepared for what was described.
Availability
Honest windows for the dates a Syracuse project is actually scheduled.
Project fit
The practical match between the brief and you — region, age range, content category, specific requirements.
Current photos
Recent face and full-body images that represent how you look now.
Following requirements
Bringing what was requested and working within the stated scope of the day.
Communication
Clear replies, and early notice if something changes on your side.
Before you book a Syracuse project
Nothing is confirmed until you have the details in writing and you agree to them. For every KASREN booking you receive compensation for the project, what the shoot involves and its content category, the location, date, expected call time and duration, and how the resulting images or footage may be used. You can decline any project, and declining keeps you on the list.
Submitting photos
Send a current face photo and a current full-body photo. Professional photos are not required and give you no advantage — a phone in daylight against a plain wall is exactly right. Submitted photos are kept for private casting review and are not displayed publicly. There is no fee to apply.
Elsewhere in Upstate New York
Syracuse sits roughly between the western and eastern ends of the Upstate corridor, so CNY applicants may be considered for a project elsewhere in the region when the schedule and compensation make sense. Travel is always specific to a production and never assumed.
